About Us
Located in the heart of Norridge, at an address known for businesses that rarely endure beyond a year, ABC Bakery & Deli defies the odds, standing resilient and offering some of the finest Serbian cuisine in the neighborhood. Our freshly prepared homemade dishes, inviting ambiance, and exceptionally friendly staff create an experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Our goal at ABC Bakery & Deli is to provide customers with the authentic taste of a traditional Serbian kitchen and bakery. With this objective in mind, we opened a small bakery with a full kitchen. Starting with a limited menu featuring grill specials, bakery goods, and imported products from the Balkan region, we aimed to offer our customers a genuine experience. As we garnered positive responses, we expanded our main menu, introduced indoor seating, and inaugurated a spacious patio area capable of accommodating over 40 guests.
From day one, our commitment has been to infuse our specials with the authentic taste of a Serbian kitchen. We take pride in delivering the highest quality homemade food in both our regular menu items and our daily and weekly specials. Our main menu boasts a variety of grilled meats, main dishes, soups, and salads. Additionally, we offer a tempting array of freshly baked homemade pastries, bread, cookies, sweets, and much more, representing the flavors of our famous Southern Serbian cuisine. Every item on our menu is available for carry-out.

Meat plays a prominent role in Serbian cuisine. The popularity of grilled meats in Serbia is mostly due to the fact that they are irresistibly good. Just a small whiff of the aroma of roasting pork or lamb, slowly turning on a spit, is enough to elevate anyone's appetite to a whole new level. A slice of savory smoked meat or sausage, flavored with a mix of garlic, peppers, and spices on a warm piece of our homemade bread or bun, or the aroma of our famous freshly cooked "Sarma," is so mouthwateringly delicious that words alone cannot do it justice.
In addition to our grilled specials and meats, our bakery is one of a kind. We offer freshly baked bread, croissants, a variety of pastries, pies, homemade cookies, cakes, and always fresh "Burek" with your choice of cheese, meat, or spinach.

Additional public parking is also available across the street at the Norridge Park District.
